The Apple House is our latest cottage on the farm — recently refurbished and ready for its first guests. It’s smaller than the barn and farmhouse, with more of a cosy cottage feel, but just as comfortable.

Inside, there’s a traditional kitchen for easy self-catering, a snug sitting room with plenty of character, and simple, restful bedrooms with comfortable beds and crisp linens.

The garden is one of the loveliest parts of the cottage. A small stone lined stream runs through it with the original Moorbath sheepwash, making it a peaceful place to sit with a morning coffee or enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. There’s space for children to play, dogs to roam, and for everyone to relax to the sound of running water and birdsong.

Like our other cottages, The Apple House is tucked away in the countryside but close to everything West Dorset has to offer. The Jurassic Coast is only a short drive away, with Lyme Regis, Bridport, and West Bay all nearby for beaches, markets, and coastal walks.

It’s a simple, comfortable cottage with plenty of charm — a place to slow down and enjoy the quiet.
